The Department of Transportation and Logistics Management, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan invites applications for faculty positions at all ranks(assistant, associate, and full professor). Candidates from all fields related to transportation are encouraged to apply. Review will start after 1st April, the position will remain open until it is filled.
 
 Qualifications:
 1. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in transportation related areas.
 2. Willing to coordinate with the directions of the Department in “Public Transportation”, “Intelligent Transportation Systems”, “Traffic Safety”, and “Logistics Management”.
 3. Capable of teaching courses related to “Air Transportation”, “Transportation Economics”, “Sustainable Transportation” or “Logistics Management”.
 4. Have research output published in academic journals of high quality in recent 5 years(not applicable to fresh Ph.D. and Ph.D. candidates).
 5. Capable of teaching in English.
 6. Capable of teaching the Undergraduate Compulsory Common Courses.
 
 Application Materials Required:
 1. Curriculum Vitae.
 2. Autobiography.
 3. Photocopy of the official Ph.D. certificate, or a statement of the expected graduation date for Ph.D. candidates.
 4. Photocopy of the Ph.D. thesis or a draft of the thesis for to-be-graduated Ph.D. candidates.
 5. List of publications(indicating the impact factor), and samples of recent publications in the last five years.
 6. Transcripts of bachelor and all post-graduate studies(for assistant professorship applicants only).
 7. Research statement(short term, medium term and long term).
 8. Teaching statement.
 9. List of courses that the applicant can offer.
 10. Shortlisted candidates are required to submit 2 letters of recommendation.
