Faculty Recruitment Announcement – Spring Semester 2026-2027 (Tentative Start Date: February 1, 2027)

 

 

　　　•  Position Title: Tenure-track or non-tenure-track Assistant Professor or above

 

　　　•  Number of Openings: 1

 

　　　•  Anticipated Start Date: February 1, 2027

Note: For applicants who are unable to obtain a valid work permit or Employment Gold Card within the required timeframe, the appointment will be deferred to August 1, 2027.

 

　　　•  Qualifications:

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Semiconductor Engineering, Green Energy, Optomechatronic Systems, Optical Information, or a closely related field from an accredited domestic or international institution. Candidates must demonstrate:

 

　　　•  Strong research performance

 

　　　•  A passion for teaching and academic service

 

　　　•  Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills

 

　　　•  The ability to teach in English

 

　　　•  Areas of Specialization:

Semiconductors and Green Energy:
Research expertise in nanophotonics, semiconductor materials and devices, microelectronics engineering, biomedical optoelectronics, and other semiconductor-related fields.

 

　　　•  Optomechatronic Systems and Optical Information:
　　　　 Specializations in system-on-chip and optoelectronic applications for IoT, silicon photonic integrated circuits and packaging, LiDAR, optical imaging and detection, digital image processing, AI-based image recognition and other IoT-related technologies.
