工作內容

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Production Planning Manager to oversee end-to-end production planning for bumping, assembly, and final test operations across multiple outsourced manufacturing partners (OSATs). This role ensures seamless supply continuity, optimal capacity utilization, and on-time delivery for high-volume IC products. The position requires strong cross-functional coordination, problem-solving ability, and in-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Scheduling
• Develop and manage weekly and monthly production plans for bumping, assembly, and test processes.
• Monitor wafer starts, WIP status, cycle time performance, and output against customer demand and internal forecasts.
• Optimize loading plans across multiple OSATs to ensure timely delivery and balanced capacity allocation.
• Maintain clear visibility of bottlenecks and initiate corrective actions to avoid shortages.
2. OSAT Management (Bumping / Assembly / Test)
• Coordinate with OSAT partners including bumping houses, assembly plants, and FT sites to ensure execution of production plans.
• Track cycle time, yield, and capacity performance; drive continuous improvement with suppliers.
• Follow up critical lots, hot runs, expedited requests, and engineering builds.
• Manage risk-build strategies, multi-source plans, and factory loadings.
3. Material & Supply Chain Control
• Manage substrate, lead-frame, and consumables requirements to support production plans.
• Work closely with suppliers on ETD/ETA, pull-in requests, and safety stock planning.
• Ensure proper wafer version control and material allocation to different customers or product lines.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Sales, and Operation teams to support new product introduction, mass production, and urgent customer demands.
• Prepare production status, risk assessments, and reports for weekly operation meetings.
• Communicate production issues, capacity constraints, and shipment commitments to internal stakeholders.
5. Data Analysis & Reporting
• Analyze supply-demand gaps, capacity utilization, yield impact, and long-term production trends.
• Provide management with timely reports and improvement recommendations.
